Showcase Sunday #8

Showcase Sunday is a new weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Vicky at Books, Biscuits & Tea, where we will show off the books and eBooks we received each week.

So, I think this is the first week when I've not actually had enough of a pile of books to warrant a book haul video! *Gives self congratulatory pat on the back* My shelves are definitely not suffering much more weight this week! I do have a couple of books to show you though, never fear!

Physical Books
Grave Sight [Graphic Novel]: Vol. 2
Grave Sight [Graphic Novel]: Vol. 3
by Charlaine Harris et al.

I bought the first volume to this Graphic Novel series last week, and I read it straight away. Charlaine Harris is my favourite author, so when I decided that I wanted to try Graphic Novels, I knew these would be a fairly safe bet. After loving the first volume, I decided that I would go ahead and order the next two into work, and they arrived! I'm going to read all three in one go, and then do an overall review of them all together, but for now, you can check out my review of volume one
HERE.

eBooks
Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane
I just happened to stumble on this one, whilst browsing the Summer Reading List on Kindle UK the other day, and found that it was only 99p! I've never tried this author before, but I've heard that she's quite good for fans of Charlaine Harris, so I thought I'd give this one a go for 99p! It's the first in the Downside Ghosts series, and sounds fairly different to anything else I've read, so I'm hoping it'll be a good one!

So that's all I got for this week guys - told you I was restrained!
I know that I haven't done a Showcase Sunday video for a couple of weeks now, even though I had planned to do one last week. Unfortunately I was really ill, and didn't manage to record one then, but I did record a book haul video yesterday, for my book haul for last week, which you can go and watch: The Showcase Sunday that Should've Been.
And definitely let me know what books you got this week in the comments below :)

Well done for not succumbing to buying too many books this week! I have't spent a penny either but freebies off amazon are sometimes just too hard to resist! Hope you enjoy your new books :)

Wow, this is a restrained week - unfortunately, I haven't been as well behaved this week, and my book buying ban kind of fell by the wayside. Oops!

I still need to read Charlene Harris (don't hurt me!) but I'm glad you're liking her graphic novels! I think that is definitely a great way into it!
And I've not read the Downside Ghost series either but I hope that you like it!

Here's my Letterbox Love this week.

Stop by if you wish :-)

CHarris' Harper Connely series is interesting albeit the slow start. Maybe the Graphic Novels will be better than the regular one.
