Wishlist Wednesday #54

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it's entirely up to you), that we can't wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.

So what do you need to do to join in?
  • Follow Pen to Paper as host of the meme.
  • Please consider adding the blog hop button to your blog somewhere, so others can find it easily and join in too! Help spread the word! The code will be at the bottom of the post under the linky.
  • Pick a book from your wishlist that you are dying to get to put on your shelves.
  • Do a post telling your readers about the book and why it's on your wishlist.
  • Add your blog to the linky at the bottom of this post.
  • Put a link back to pen to paper (http://www.pentopaperblog.com) somewhere in your post, and a note saying that Pen to Paper is the host of the meme.
  • Visit the other blogs and enjoy!

Every Day
by David Levithan

Goodreads synopsis:
In his New York Times bestselling novel, David Levithan introduces readers to what Entertainment Weekly calls a "wise, wildly unique" love story about A, a teen who wakes up every morning in a different body, living a different life.

Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.

There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.

With his new novel, David Levithan, bestselling co-author of Will Grayson, Will Grayson, and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, has pushed himself to new creative heights. He has written a captivating story that will fascinate readers as they begin to comprehend the complexities of life and love in A’s world, as A and Rhiannon seek to discover if you can truly love someone who is destined to change every day.

I first heard about this book, maybe 3 months ago, a little before its publication, and if I'm honest, at first, it didn't really catch my attention. I have, of course, heard of David Levithan, and am looking forward to reading both Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, and the soon-to-be-published-in-the-UK, Dash & Lily's Book of Dares (both written as a collaboration with Rachel Cohn), but this hadn't piqued my interest at all yet.
However, I have been seeing this around more and more, since its publication at the end of August, and I am definitely starting to sit up and pay attention to it. What has really swayed my decision though, was a review that Suemoro did on her YouTube channel for the book. She really liked it, and I respect Sue's opinion. So it became a firm member of my wishlist, and has made its way onto my list of books for Christmas (seeing as it's a hardcover). I can't wait!
If you want to check out Sue's review, which I think you should, then click here.

So what's on your wishlist this week? Let us know in the comments below, or by linking up to your own Wishlist Wednesday blog post, in the linky below :)

I read Every Day about two weeks ago and absolutely loved it! You can see my review at http://wp.me/p2B4Be-91. I've ready some of his co-authored works as well: Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List (w/Rachel Cohn), Dash & Lily's Books of Dares (also w/Rachel Cohn), and Will Grayson, Will Grayson (w/John Green). You really can't go wrong with any of the above!
