TBR Challenge

While I was taking a look at Vicky's blog at Books, Biscuits & Tea, and I discovered this 2012 challenge that she is hosting along with 9 other book blogs. I have been looking recently at my ever-increasing TBR (to be read, for those that don't know) pile and wondering when I will ever get through it all. Although I know I do want to read all of them, and I do look forward to a lot of them, there are always new books coming out that I also want to read. It has become increasingly difficult to get them read though because of University reading and work I have to do, and now I'm blogging more and more often, I also have a huge pile of review copies to read.
So by setting myself this challenge, I'm hoping to get through some of the books that I decide to add to the list.

There are different levels to this challenge so that each blogger taking part can suit it to their reading schedules. These levels are:

1-10 - A Firm Handshake
11-20 - A Friendly Hug
21-30 - A Sweet Kiss
31-40 - Love At First Sight
41-50 - Married With Children

I have decided to go with A Friendly Hug for my level because of my University reading and review copies, so I think this will be more manageable, but if I manage to move up into A Sweet Kiss - even better ;) !

Below is the list of the books I have decided to read as part of this challenge. If I manage to cross them all off in good time, then I shall compose another list, and move myself up a level!

1. Soulless by Gail Carriger  -- Review
2. Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
3. A Tiny Bit Marvellous by Dawn French
4. The Becoming by Jeanne C. Stein
5. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
6. Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs
7. My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece by Annabel Pitcher
8. Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton
9. Graceling by Kristin Cashore
10. Storm Born by Richelle Mead
11. Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh
12. Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi
13. Killing Floor by Lee Child
14. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
15. The Invisible Ones by Stef Penney
16. Bloodroot by Amy Greene
17. Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder
18. Fallen by Lauren Kate
19. The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde
20. Kitty Goes to Washington by Carrie Vaughn

These are only a few of the books that I am planning to read in 2012. I will publish reviews as I go along, and keep this page updated with links to the reviews (and in a couple of cases, author interviews too), and if I do manage to reach my target of completing all of these, I shall add a second list to this page! How exciting!

If you're a book blogger and you're interested in signing yourself up for the challenge too, click on the image at the top of this post and it will take you along to Vicky's first host post!

Happy Reading!
